Yobota at Digital Banking Forum 2021

Adam Paciorek, Head of Marketing at Yobota - 19 Feb 2021

Last week Yobota sponsored the core banking track at AltFi Digital Banking Forum 2021.

It was an excellent opportunity for industry leaders to gather and discuss how the current, rapid changes in the surrounding environment affect the financial industry.

During the event, Ammar Akhtar, Founder and CEO of Yobota, participated in a Cracking Core Banking panel alongside Gary Delooze, Chief Information Officer at Nationwide and Adrian Poole, Head of Financial Services UKI at Google Cloud. The panel was hosted by Helen Child, co-founder of Open Banking Excellence.

After the discussion, Ammar hosted a breakout session “What To Expect From A Modern Core Banking Platform And How To Choose One?

In this wide-ranging presentation, he discussed what a modern core banking platform should offer and how to assess your needs ahead of choosing one.

We want to thank all the participants and organisers for making this event so informative and beneficial for everyone in attendance. We are looking forward to meeting you again in the near future.

A few years ago, I gave James King a call and said “I think I’ve got something you may enjoy working on”. It was the culmination of several conversations with the other founders in our soon-to-be-created company, and the early days of a vision to build the future standard of core banking infrastructure.
